Mallets for gongs

The timbre of a gong depends on the size, hardness and surface quality of the gong mallet or gong driver. Different types of gong mallets and gong rubbers have been developed to provide a wide variety of sounds for working with gongs. You can choose between felt mallets, plush mallets and rubber mallets. The latter are also suitable for rubbing the gong, creating a sound reminiscent of whale song.
