Mallets / Mallets / Reamers
Product Safety Regulation (GSPR)
These product safety instructions serve to ensure the sustainable handling of our mallets and graters.
All of the mallets and rubbers for Singing Bowls and gongs that we sell are handcrafted using woodmetal and plastic for the shafts, while the heads are made of felt, fleece silicone and natural rubber. The individual sizes vary according to the instrument for which they are intended in length length and are ergonomically designed to ensure safe handling through balanced weight distribution.
As each mallet/mallet and reamer is a unique handcrafted item, slight deviations from our website or catalog photos are possible with regard to optical properties (wood color of the shaft) or the parameters defined by us (length, weight).
Every mallet/mallet or reamer undergoes a quality control process to ensure that material and processing errors are excluded. The mallets/mallets and reamers are wrapped in paper or cloth bags and each is marked with an EAN code. For shipping, they are packed in recycled cardboard boxes with padding flakes made from potato starch.
The mallets/allets and graters should be stored away from water, dirt and dust and protected from direct sunlight and handled with care, especially in the head area, to avoid soiling yourself and the Singing Bowl or gong being played. Small gong beaters in particular should be stored out of the reach of small children, as they could be confused due to their colorful rubber heads. The mallets and rubbers should be checked regularly for damage and should not be used if they are visibly damaged.
With intensive regular use, it is unavoidable, despite all efforts, that the head of the mallet/mallet - and especially that of the reamer - will "wear out" over time. This is not a quality defect, but the naturalness of the materials used in conjunction with the applicable laws of physics.
If a mallet/mallet or reamer purchased from us is damaged, we will be happy to inform you about repair options. If the product has to be disposed of, it must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner according to its material components in the appropriate waste.
