Description
As soon as the Koshi chime starts to vibrate, a small plate inside the sound cylinder gently touches eight rods of different lengths, which are arranged in a circle at the bottom of the sound cylinder.
The Koshi chime offers a harmonious play of pure tones and overtones.
These chimes are made in France using an elaborate, handcrafted technique. Eight metal bars of different lengths are attached to the soundboard with silver.
KOSHI chimes are available in four tunings. Each has its own magical timbre and can be played in harmony with all the others.
If you hold the chime by the upper cord and move it gently, or let the wind play it outside, the bamboo resonance tubes emit beautiful sounds with the harmonies of the 4 elements: Fire, Earth, Water, Air.
