The frequencies of the Small basin bowl address the area between the solar plexus and the abdomen, while the Large basin bowl with its deep tones offers relaxation for the lower back and pelvic area. The sounds produced by the cymbal bowl can be varied using different mallets.

Sound
Our Peter Hess® Therapy pelvic bowls undergo an extensive testing process during and after production to ensure optimum quality. Only Singing Bowls with outstanding sound and vibration characteristics are awarded the Peter Hess® Therapy seal of quality.
The sound character can vary depending on the type of mallet:
- A small, hard mallet tends to produce the high, dominant overtones.
- A thicker, soft mallet produces deep, resonant tones that are not only audible but also perceptible.
Area of application and benefits
The Small Pelvic Bowl is particularly suitable for sound massage with children and adolescents. The large cymbal bowl has a stronger sound intensity than the small cymbal bowl and is preferred for professional use.
Quality levels
Both the small and the large Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowl cymbal bowl are available in the Classic and Premium quality levels. If you use the bowl primarily for professional sound work, we recommend the Premium version. If you will be using the Singing Bowl mainly in a private setting, the Classic version is also sufficient. Origin and materials
The Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowl - Pelvic bowl is made by hand in India. The Manufacturing process is complex and involves many different work steps. Only pure metals are used. The quality of the basin shell is continuously and intensively checked, first in India and later again in Germany.
Permanent coating
Both the small as well as the large bowl are available with or without a permanent coating. The permanent tarnish protection makes the surface more resistant and preserves the shine of the Singing Bowl. Certain factors such as high humidity, salt or chlorine in the water, disinfectants or close contact with the skin can lead to oxidation (stains) on the surface of the Singing Bowl . We particularly recommend the permanent coating for people who work in hospitals, nursing homes or in the wellness and spa sector with Singing Bowls . It makes the Singing Bowl very easy to clean: a simple wipe with a soft cloth is all it takes.
Care instructions
In order to enjoy the brilliance of the Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowl - basin bowl clean it regularly with a soft cloth and a little water and detergent. Alternatively, simply use our cleaning stone.
