As parents, it is our instinctive desire to protect our children from the harsh realities of life. Dealing with death and grief is often characterized by our own painful experiences, which we would like to spare our children. We often don't trust young children in particular to be able to deal with grief and loss. However, children experience grief and loss differently to adults, and it is crucial for a healthy grieving process that we accompany them on this path.
In sound-based grief counseling, sound and experiential spaces are created together with children and young people. Through conscious grieving, we accept reality. By giving the pain space and feeling it, healing and processing processes can be set in motion.
At this sound evening, Ulrike Braak will give us an insight into how we can support grief in a child-friendly way with the help of sounds.
And of course you can also look forward to another sound exercise for your personal well-being!
